This is a place where rememberances of former employees  of the KCS and L&A railroads will be kept.

This came about due to an e mail from Matt Hutson of Crested Butte, CO in Nov of 2001

Since this was all brought about by Matt's offer I feel it is appropriate that his interview be posted first....so here is what spurred this page..."I had a very dear friend until his passing last year at the age of 85 who was a firemen on the KCS out of Mena from 1939-1942.  He had some great stories!  I taped an interview with his a little over two years ago in which he recounted his railroad adventures"...
